Technical Project Purchaser
Are you ready to take on a key role in executing procurement for complex EPC projects? Do you thrive in a cross-functional project environment and have a strong technical and commercial mindset? We are looking for a Technical Project Purchaser to join our Procurement team.
Your Role
As a Technical Project Purchaser, you will be part of our project organization and work closely with colleagues from technical, legal, and project management teams. You will be responsible for executing procurement activities across the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
You will step into a well-established setup with streamlined procurement processes and tools, allowing you to contribute from day one. Collaboration is at the heart of how we work – you will be part of a team where knowledge sharing and joint problem-solving are key to our success.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute procurement for EPC projects in collaboration with project teams
- Prepare and manage RFI and RFQ processes
- Evaluate offers and lead contract negotiations, often based on existing framework agreements
- Create PO’s and follow up during execution
- Participate in sourcing activities to strengthen our competitiveness
- Manage and develop supplier base for selected categories
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a strong combination of technical insight and commercial acumen. Your educational background could be in engineering, marine engineering, commerce, or similar – what matters most is your ability to navigate both technical and commercial aspects of procurement. You should be able to work independently and seek the information needed, be flexible and willing to adjust to dynamic market conditions.
Qualifications
- Experience with technical procurement, preferably within EPC project environments
- Strong negotiation skills and understanding of contract frameworks
- Structured, analytical, and collaborative approach
- Ability to work in a dynamic, project-driven setting
Language Requirements
- Fluency in English is required, including negotiation-level proficiency
- Danish and Polish language skills are a strong advantage
Other Details
- Work location: Aalborg, Denmark or Krakow, Poland
- Travel: 20 travel days per year should be expected
- Reporting to: Ari Sverrisson, Head of Proposals & Procurement
