Sales Manager - Aftermarket sales, service and maintenance projects

The job
Aftermarket Sales of AETs service product portfolio and Service projects to existing AET customer, new customers, and new markets.  The product portfolio is focused on extended life services within AET own solution – focusing on aftersales maintenance and renovating projects.

Our sales manager must initiate and maintain a close dialogue with both potential and existing clients in Europe. You able to carry out the entire process from identifying and challenging potential customers/targets and to, simultaneously, work to obtain further business from existing clients. 

You will be working with a great team of colleagues including highly technical profiles, whose expertise you will benefit from – and include in the sales process.

You will:

  • Analyze business opportunities for both new and existing customers
  • Proactively sale AET Products controlling the sales process from A-Z
  • Negotiate offers, quotations and contracts
  • Generate the sales concept and final quote with consultation of the appropriate parties with the best value proposition for our customers
  • Participate in trade fairs
  • Provide market feedback 
  • Review technical condition of the plant on site and advising clients on replacement/ renewal of existing technical systems incl. technical clarification
  • Calculations of service and spare parts offers

The job requires traveling activity; hence our customers are located in Europe, primarily UK, Germany and France. 

Your profile
Our new sales manager must possess both technical competence and profound flair for the commercial aspects. Preferably with some experience from a similar position or from the processing industry and/or energy production. You have a proven track record, selling technical products/systems/services in an international environment. You will be able to work independently as well as contribute as a team member to develop and maintain our business. It will be great if you have experience in power plants – but not mandatory.

You are proactive, have a high level of drive and are always focused on new sales opportunities, controlling the sales process from A-Z.

Furthermore, you are fluent in English, both written and spoken and preferably – also in German or French.
